As the Incoming Head of School at Christ Classical Academy, Mr. Cornett brings a wealth of experience in developing thriving classical Christian educational communities.

Currently serving as Head of School at Christ Covenant School in Winterville, NC, Mr. Cornett has been instrumental in casting vision, developing school culture, and shepherding the institution toward organizational and spiritual health. Under his leadership, the school has launched a capital campaign and begun development of new facilities.

With over 15 years of experience spanning educational leadership, pastoral ministry, and international missions, Mr. Cornett has demonstrated exceptional abilities in vision-casting, team building, and creating transformative learning environments. His background includes founding and leading Abilene Classical Academy, serving as a church planter in Colombia with the International Mission Board, and pastoring congregations across the United States.

Mr. Cornett holds a Master of Divinity in Missions, Evangelism, and Church Growth from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Science in English Education from Florida State University.

A devoted family man, Mr. Cornett and his wife Jaclyn are raising their five children while serving their community through education and ministry. When not working, he enjoys supporting Manchester United, reading, yardwork, and spending time with his family.
