League of Houses

The six houses comprising Christ Classical’s league of houses are: Athanasius, Augustine, Calvin, Lewis, Schaeffer, and Watts.

Christ Classical’s League of Houses exists to raise students into their appointed roles of leaders and rulers over creation who cultivate, work, and maintain the world around them for God’s glory.

The League of Houses fosters a culture conducive to learning—a culture that properly equips students for lives of service to God and others as well as success in their future academic and professional pursuits.

Purpose

You have given him dominion over the works of your hands; you have put all things under his feet.” – Psalm 8:6

The League of Houses helps students rise into leaders in three ways:

  1. By giving students incentives (house points and corresponding awards) to meet high standards for student competition, comportment, and interaction
  2. By creating house-specific, school-wide, and community-oriented opportunities for service to others
  3. By giving older students opportunities to lead and mentor younger students
