Christ in all things
Christ Classical Academy is a school that is centered around the teachings of Jesus Christ. The curriculum of the school is designed to integrate the Scriptures into all subjects, including history, art, music, literature, mathematics, and science. The aim is to present the Lord as the One in whom all knowledge is united. By doing so, the students are taught to appreciate the goodness of God’s creation and to recognize the truth, beauty, and goodness of God in the world. The school believes that each day is an opportunity to engage students with noble and beautiful objects of study, nourishing their imaginations and allowing them to grow into individuals who can appreciate the goodness that God has made.
Our pursuit of truth, beauty, and goodness is intertwined with our objective of enabling students to establish a genuine and profound relationship with God through Jesus Christ, which will help them become vessels to share His love with others. When we look at a student’s heart and relationships, we compare it to a garden. Just like weeding and pruning are essential to help a garden flourish, the same applies to hearts and minds. Our faculty is committed to taking advantage of teachable moments, even when it involves going beyond our schedule. We aim to comprehend what is happening in our students’ hearts, not just to alter their behavior. This requires time and attention in the short-term, but we believe it is worth it. In the long run, tending to the garden will produce good fruit for our students, our school, and our community.
